Vintage Pickup
“Some objects hold more than we can see. They remind us of places we’ve been, people we’ve known, and moments that stay with us. This piece speaks to the stories and memories we carry along the way.”
There’s something about an old pickup that makes you wonder where it’s been and who has ridden along. In Vintage Pickup, I used layered color and soft detail to bring out the character of the red truck against the peaceful lake. For me, it brings to mind unhurried drives, things built to last, and the memories we attach to them.
